DC drives on all three axes for automatic and simultaneous EDMing in any direction, orbital programming control in three planes, reciprocation on any axis in both directions and selectable inch or metric dimensioning.
Schneeberger-Type antifriction roller bearings for sensitive and accurate movements on the X, Y, & Z axes. Table movement is numerically controlled with a variety of table travels. All 3 axes use a DC motor driven recirculating ball leadscrew with pulse coder feedback. The CNC controller will execute program blocks of information from 3 possible sources; non-volatile bubble memory in MEM mode, paper or mylar tape in TAPE mode, or from manual instructions entered by operator on keyboard MDI mode. |
