Description:
The Prazi SD300 Masterturn 5"x12" High Precision Lathe was built in Germany to set the standard for R&D labs worldwide. A benchtop precision lathe that was specifically designed to meet the needs of machinists, serious hobbyist, mechanics, vocational and technical schools, medical, dental, optical, electrical and scientific laboratories. the SD300 Headstock has adjustable spindle tapered roller bearings with a spindle accuracy of .0002",which provide close tolerances on turning, facing and boring operations.
The SD300 has a precision ground bed with heavy duty bed and headstock construction. This assures strong rigidity, high resistence to twisting and precision quality work finishes. Both cross slide and top slide have fully adjustable gibs for maintaining consistent accuracies. Taper turning is performed with standard moveable top slide. A full line of accessories is available for turning, milling, drilling, boring and gear cutting on the SD300 lathe.
